The team members of FedEx, together with World Vision, will jointly raise and use its MD-11 cargo plane to load and transport 150000 pounds of disaster relief materials. The relief plane took off from Denver, Colorado, in the early morning of Monday (January 18) and arrived in the Dominican Republic later that day.FedEx Corp. (NYSE Code: FDX), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and one of the world's largest express transportation companies, put its first 777 cargo aircraft into operation in Shanghai, China, to further enhance its international express transportation capacity.It is one of the fastest growing markets of FedEx in the Asia-Pacific region, and Shanghai has many export cross-ocean routes. FedEx launched the new 777 cargo plane in Shanghai to meet the growing demand of customers.

The new 77 cargo plane was put into use on January 4, connecting Shanghai directly with FedEx's Super Hub in Memphis. The opening of direct flights will provide customers in Shanghai, Suzhou and Kunshan with a two-hour delay in the delivery time *, so that customers have more time to prepare their international priority express and international economic express shipments *, and provide more convenience for their international transportation.
