"We have unique people and unique networks. We are proud of these two assets, because these assets are the key pillars to provide quality services to our customers and overcome any crisis in our daily business," commented Roy Hughes, Executive Vice President of European Network Operations. We will continue to work hard to maintain the normal operation of all businesses for our customers, while maintaining the safety of our employees. "
DHL "Thank you" aircraft is used as a normal network flight with the registration number of G-DHKF, and its destinations are all over Europe and other regions. So far, the aircraft has stopped in 23 different countries and 32 different portals, including Germany, Britain, Finland, Denmark, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Italy, Spain and Morocco. Further stops are planned in Israel, Portugal and Austria. In order to further disseminate information and attract colleagues, Network Operations Europe launched the "Rainbow&Heroes" activity, which aims to encourage colleagues to share their photos on the plane through different facilities in Europe. In order to contact other colleagues in the DHL apron and hub and gateway, as of the end of May, a transport container (ULD – unit loading equipment) had been labeled with "Thank you". This container used for express delivery will be airlifted in Europe, so it can be seen from many employees. DHL employees can also sign on this container and send messages to colleagues from other hubs and gateways in different European countries of DHL's unique network.
Steven Hanisch of Ramp, director of DHL Express Hub Leipzig, added: "We are all together, and my job is to support our customers and maintain normal operation as much as I can under all circumstances. Nevertheless, when our work is appreciated, I feel very happy, especially in these uncertain periods. And - or even more - the contributions made by health care workers every day deserve recognition. That is why I am proud to be a member of this company."
